A Luft-Wasserabscheider, or air-water separator, is a device that removes moisture from compressed air. In a compressed air system, ambient air is drawn in, compressed, and often cooled. During this process, the moisture in the air condenses and can accumulate in pipes, valves, and machinery if not properly managed. This moisture can lead to rust, corrosion, and malfunction of critical components. Air-water separators are designed to trap and remove this moisture before it reaches sensitive equipment.
